Malti Montrose

Breed: Brown Tabby Age: 2 Years Old Gender: Female
Malti is social, playful, talkative - she chirps and squeaks to let you know when she wants to be pet, to play, or to eat! She gets along well with other cats and will warm up to new people more quickly with treats and cheek scritches. While a bit reserved at first, especially in a busier environment, she really blossoms once she realizes all you want to do is giver her love! You know she has gained your trust when she rolls over to allow you to give belly rubs! She loves lasers, catnip-filled toys, ribbon/wand toys, and scratching posts. She can often be found bird-watching in the window or curled up in her favorite cozy spot.

Malti is about 2 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. Malti is curious, playful, and smart!

Rescue Partner: Project Meow

Project Meow is a foster-based cat rescue serving Central New Jersey. They are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need. Founded in 2007, Project MEOW is an all-volunteer non-profit cat rescue group that either directly helps homeless cats or works with community members in West Philadelphia neighborhoods to assist them in caring for cats located in their vicinity. Our mission is to humanely reduce the future population of cats living on the streets via spay/neuter, while simultaneously improving the lives of current homeless cats through our foster/adoption program and colony cat program. Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) is both the humane and the scientifically-proven best approach for controlling the community cat population. The Manage component refers to the care of the outdoor cats in a safe, controlled environment by a community Caretaker.
