Birdie Elliot

Breed: Tortie-tude Age: 10 Months Gender: Female
Birdie Elliott is a beautiful tortoiseshell kitten with hazel eyes. She's a sweet and playful girl with a heart full of charm and a little dash of mischief. She loves hunting down toy mice and proudly collecting them into her own little treasure pile.

Birdie is a social girl and will follow you from room to room. She makes cute chirping sounds to talk and keep you company. She's still a kitten with lots of energy, but when she's ready to relax, she'll curl up nearby while purring and making sleepy blinks to say "I love you". She can be picked up easily and is very gentle.

Birdie gets along well with other cats including her brother Rusty Elliott and her mom Cleo Elliott who are also looking for forever homes! She's a loving, fun kitten that's ready to find her people.

Birdie Elliott is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

It is Project MEOW's policy that kittens are either adopted with another cat or kitten, or go to a new family that already has a cat or kitten for companionship.

Rescue Partner: Project Meow

Project Meow is a foster-based cat rescue serving Central New Jersey. They are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need. Founded in 2007, Project MEOW is an all-volunteer non-profit cat rescue group that either directly helps homeless cats or works with community members in West Philadelphia neighborhoods to assist them in caring for cats located in their vicinity. Our mission is to humanely reduce the future population of cats living on the streets via spay/neuter, while simultaneously improving the lives of current homeless cats through our foster/adoption program and colony cat program. Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) is both the humane and the scientifically-proven best approach for controlling the community cat population. The Manage component refers to the care of the outdoor cats in a safe, controlled environment by a community Caretaker.
